IAUDIT Welcomes Three New Partners in Its 15th Year of Business
With the appointment of Ivana Fatur Jovanović, Ana Pin, and Karlo Bačić as partners, IAUDIT reinforces its long-term commitment to expertise, accountability, and developing talent from within
“Come for the work, stay for the people.”
In a single sentence, Karlo Bačić captures something difficult to measure yet essential: a culture where professionalism is built on trust, collaboration, and a sense of belonging. That sentence may best reflect the moment IAUDIT finds itself today. As the firm marks its 15th anniversary, it enters a new phase of development, welcoming three new partners, all promoted from its own ranks.
Ivana Fatur Jovanović, Ana Pin, and Karlo Bačić, all certified auditors, have each built their careers at IAUDIT. Their appointment is not merely internal news or a formal shift in ownership structure; it is a clear affirmation of a long-term development model in which expertise, responsibility, and trust are cultivated over years – not treated as short-term gains.
“From the very beginning, our goal was to build IAUDIT not only as a firm of high professional standards, but as a system that would, over time, become a platform for developing new generations of experts. The idea was to create an organization stable enough to outgrow its founders, yet open enough to enable people to advance to the most responsible roles,” explains Boris Vidas, who founded IAUDIT in 2011 together with Nenad Mutić and Filip Zekan.
Practice, Not Just Theory
At IAUDIT, this vision has not remained theoretical. In 2020, the founders were joined in the partnership by Iva Gašparić, and 2026 brings a further expansion. What stands out is that Ivana, Ana, and Karlo all joined the firm straight out of university and, through years of work, learning, professional development, and increasing responsibility, progressed to partnership level.
For Ivana Fatur Jovanović, the appointment primarily represents trust, as well as recognition that consistent effort, continuous learning, and dedication to the team are valued in the long run. She began her career in 2013, when IAUDIT itself was still in its early stages. Today, after passing the certified auditor exam, leading projects, and taking on managerial responsibilities, she sees partnership as an opportunity to share responsibility, risk, and success – while also creating an environment where both people and the business can grow beyond individual limits.
Karlo Bačić sees a similar thread in his own journey, describing partnership as a transition from operational work to a broader perspective on business development. As he points out, this new role means stepping out of his comfort zone, but even more so embracing responsibility – for the work, the people, and the firm’s future direction. He highlights the importance of combining professional expertise with new methodologies, particularly those driven by technology, with a strong focus on using artificial intelligence to enhance and accelerate audit processes.

Ana Pin, who has spent a decade at IAUDIT, views her appointment as both a significant recognition and a natural continuation of the professional path she has built from the very beginning. For her, IAUDIT is not just a workplace but an environment where she has grown alongside colleagues who share the same values. She sees partnership as both a responsibility and an opportunity to actively contribute to the firm’s future development, quality of work, and a business culture grounded in trust, expertise, and long-term relationships.
A Story of Trust, Knowledge, and Continuity
Behind these individual stories lies a shared theme: growth through people. Through colleagues who stay and those who move on, through mentors, projects, clients, challenges, deadlines, and everyday situations where professional knowledge turns into real experience. In the reflections of the new partners, this human element stands out – relationships, mutual trust, a willingness to learn, and a culture that successfully combines high professional standards with a genuine sense of belonging.
This may be why these appointments go beyond the usual business narrative. At a time when careers are often defined by rapid moves, individual achievements, and short-term goals, IAUDIT’s decision demonstrates that a strong organization is built not only through acquisitions, financial results, or revenue growth, but through consistent investment in the people who carry it forward.
As noted, the admission of three new partners comes at a particularly symbolic moment – IAUDIT’s 15th anniversary. This milestone is therefore not only an opportunity to reflect on the past, but also confirmation that the founding idea still holds true: knowledge is shared, responsibility is gradually transferred, and development is built over the long term – as part of a shared story that goes beyond any single individual.
